School Readiness

Evaluation for school (kindergarten) readiness; academic skills and consultation regarding appropriate public and private school

Some parents are uncertain about their child’s academic and maturational readiness for kindergarten. Other parents may be contemplating changing schools and question a child’s appropriateness for a particular school.

I can evaluate a child’s academic skills and developmental maturity to help parents with these decisions. An evaluation may consist of consultations with parents, observations of the child, and/or testing. Having practiced in Palm Beach County for over 30 years, I’m familiar with many public and private schools in the area.

Fees for this evaluation range from $550 – $650.  Fees include time for interviews, assessments, interpretation of data, report writing and follow-up session to discuss finding.
